As one of the best schools in Erie County, GMHS houses grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 within the General McLane School District. There are approximately 700 students in the school and approximately 60 professional and support staff serving the school community. Our Academic Program focuses on preparing students for a career and features Advanced Placement, College in the High School, Regional Choice Initiative, and Erie County Technical School opportunities. Our professional teaching staff prides themselves on making education relevant to the next step in the lives of our students whether it be college, the military or the workforce.
Additionally, General McLane High School offers strong extra-curricular programs including athletics, music, and a wide array of clubs and organizations.
